The Batman series revolves around Bruce Wayne, a philanthropist millionaire whose main companion is his butler. He gets fed up with the crimes in Gotham city, and this leads him to become Batman, the cape-and-cowl-donning crime fighter who is out to get the criminals who abuse the innocent and spread their evil. The Batman series is one of the most popular franchises, and this increased when live action movies were made based on it, such as Batman Begins, Batman Returns and Batman Forever.
